RRH PJ Drive 2011

On December 21, 2011, representatives of Raisa's Ray of Hope, including past RRH Scholarship recipients, gathered at Juniata Park Academy, an inner-city elementary school in Philadelphia, PA, to surprise 148 first-graders with a brand new set of PJs and a book. As you can see by their faces, the children were ecstatic and would not stop thanking the group for their presents.

This is the third year RRH has sponsored a PJ Drive for young children. This activity is conducted as an opportunity to remember Raisa by doing something that she would have loved doing herself - helping raise children's self-esteem by making them feel loved and special. The PJs and books were donated by members and friends of RRH. We thank them all!!
