In the spirit of Christmas, Raisa’s Ray of Hope is having its 3rd Annual Pajama Drive on December 21, 2011. This year, we will be donating new Pajama’s to First Grade students from Juniata Park Academy in Philadelphia. In doing so, we will be remembering Raisa by doing something positive for young children - something that Raisa would have loved to have done herself. You all know how much Raisa loved kids - especially those in need.
It will be so nice for these children to have a new set of warm Pajama’s to wear the night before Christmas! They will receive the PJ's individually wrapped and with each child's name printed on the bag. They will also receive a book each and information on good nutrition. We hope this will contribute to raising the child's self-esteem and will strengthen his/her desire to learn and to eat healthy.
To sponsor a child with a set of Pajama’s is only $10. We are looking for new sponsors. You can make a financial contribution or donate a new set of PJ's by e-mailing RRH at Raisasrayofhope@gmail.com. You can also join us on December 21st to be part of this beautiful experience!
